The Partnership Board includes the Partnership’s senior team, alongside representatives from partner organisations (e.g. providers, commissioners, local authorities and third sector organisations) and the organisations that regulate health and social care in England.
The Board meets every month and enables partners to work together to reach a number of common goals. As well as this, the Board looks to identify new opportunities where health and care services in Cheshire and Merseyside can work jointly to solve problems that cannot be tackled by individual organisations.
Additionally, the Board ensures that the programmes of work it is responsible for funding and overseeing are being delivered on time and to budget. In situations where not enough progress is being made, the Board uses its collective authority to remove barriers in the system, so that projects can progress as required.
